TAMERA

This painting was started while I was traveling around the south of Portugal, not yet settled. I worked on it mainly in the communities and retreat centers I passed by during that period. It is clearly inspired on the earthy colors that characterize the summer of this region.

I enjoy painting on big canvas and it became quite difficult to work on this one during that period, as I was living in a tiny house and it was difficult to manage it in such a small space.

This painting is not yet finished.

I gave it the same name as the oldest community based in Portugal — Tamera — which was created in 1978 and it's worldly known for creating Healing Biotopes and exploring decentralized models.
